Lewis Johnson

He has been a member of numerous investment committees, advisory and corporate boards, and a director of several not for profit organisations including the MS Society of Victoria, The Graduate Union of the University of Melbourne and the Melbourne Savage Club where he is currently a Vice President. He is also a Director of the Southern Cross Philharmonic Orchestra.

Lewis was born in Charters Towers Queensland and attended All Souls’ Anglican School there before completing his secondary education as a boarder at Brisbane Grammar School from 1960-1963.

He is a graduate of the University of Melbourne (B.Comm) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD)

For the past 21 years he has had direct investment management responsibility for a large successful balanced retirement fund and been actively involved in stockbroking.

He is active and well known in the resources and energy industries, with strong personal and professional connections particularly in the exploration and emerging producer sectors in both minerals and energy and active in the Property Industry as a Director of Valad Core Plus Management Ltd, Vulcann Ltd and Folkestone Docklands Pty Ltd.

He is a Director and shareholder of Gladysdale Vineyards Pty Ltd, a former Director of Ceramic Funds Management Ltd and the Australian Subsidiary of a Japanese property company for some 10 years.
